Reflection

Earlier, I went to hear mass at the chapel of Greenhills. The Gospel was about God’s Greatest Commandments, and they are: 1. Love God with all your heart, your soul, your mind; and 2. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. In his homily, the priest told us that every single day, upon waking up, even before we check our messages on our mobile phones or get up to take a shower, we should ask these three questions: 1. Who am I? 2. What should I do? 3. What am I hoping for? This is my personal thoughts: It is when we reflect on these three questions, when we go deeper into our own selves, when we see the true meaning of our lives, that we truly know God. And when we know Him, we are more certain that we love Him. We are living our lives for the His greater glory.  -->

Light and Wisdom

************************************* "A Student's Prayer" St. Thomas Aquinas Creator of all things true source of light and wisdom, origin of all being, graciously let a ray of your light penetrate the darkness of my understanding. Take from me the double darkness in which I have been born, an obscurity of sin and ignorance. Give me a keen understanding, a retentive memory, and the ability to grasp things correctly and fundamentally. Grant me the talent of being exact in my explanations and the ability to express myself with thoroughness and charm. Point out the beginning, direct the progress, and help in the completion. I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. ************************************* Two more weeks to go. A long list of things to accomplish. This is college. This is life. AMDG. All for the greater glory of God.
