It's amazing how time flies so fast... and we're now in the year twenty eleven.


I'm definitely grateful for twenty ten. I've made so many realizations, so many more mistakes, and so many more more more learnings. I'm definitely thankful to Him up above for the many blessings in disguise. I've been off to college for more than one year and I have always missed my family, but despite the distance between me and them, I'm so grateful for all that they have done for me. I've found new friendships which I'll take good care of. I've strengthened a lot of hagbay-na friendships and I treasure them forever. I've been through a lot with him (Hehe, Manilin) and despite the distance, too, we've managed to go through it all. 


(I would've made a looking-back-at-2010 post but I didn't get the time to do so last year -- which was just yesterday haha.)


There's more. Beyond family, friends, relationships. But all these... I wouldn't have lived without them. 


And to YOU... I want to say THANK YOU... You've been a wonderful part of my 2010. :) (You know who you are ;) )


Nevertheless, it's not yet the end of the world.. So I say, CHEERS TO 2011! There's still a long year ahead! And I'm too excited for the surprises that await.

    I'm happy, Jan, that you're happy, fulfilled. 2010 might have been very difficult but you managed to patch things up. Great job! :)

Reflection

Earlier, I went to hear mass at the chapel of Greenhills. The Gospel was about God’s Greatest Commandments, and they are: 1. Love God with all your heart, your soul, your mind; and 2. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. In his homily, the priest told us that every single day, upon waking up, even before we check our messages on our mobile phones or get up to take a shower, we should ask these three questions: 1. Who am I? 2. What should I do? 3. What am I hoping for? This is my personal thoughts: It is when we reflect on these three questions, when we go deeper into our own selves, when we see the true meaning of our lives, that we truly know God. And when we know Him, we are more certain that we love Him. We are living our lives for the His greater glory.  -->
